By confirming a reservation with Cloudcars USA, you agree to the terms outlined below.
General Agreement
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our services and website at www.cloudcarsusa.com. By accessing our site or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Rental Agreement
All rentals are subject to a signed rental agreement at the time of vehicle pickup. Cloudcars USA reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who does not meet our rental requirements or fails to provide valid documentation.
Driver Requirements
Minimum age of 25 years. Valid government-issued driver’s license required. All drivers must be listed on the rental agreement prior to operating the vehicle. Cloudcars USA reserves the right to verify driving history and refuse rental at its discretion.
Vehicle Use
Vehicles may only be operated within the continental United States. Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. Vehicles must not be used for racing, towing, or any illegal activity. Smoking in any vehicle is strictly prohibited and will result in a $300 cleaning fee deducted from the security deposit.
Mileage Policy
Each rental includes 150 miles per day. Any mileage exceeding this limit will be charged at $3.00 per mile and deducted from the security deposit or charged to the renter directly.
Security Deposit
A $1,000 security deposit is required at the time of booking. The deposit will be refunded within 5 business days following the return of the vehicle provided it is returned in the same condition, with a full tank of fuel, on time, and within the agreed mileage limit. Any damages, violations, fuel shortages, or excess mileage will be deducted from the deposit. If costs exceed $1,000, the renter is fully liable for the remaining balance.
Insurance & Liability
Renters are required to carry valid personal auto insurance or purchase coverage through Cloudcars USA at the time of booking. Cloudcars USA is not liable for any accidents, injuries, theft, or damages occurring during the rental period. The renter assumes full responsibility for the vehicle from the time of pickup to the time of return.
Fuel Policy
All vehicles must be returned with a full tank of fuel. Failure to do so will result in a refueling fee of $50 plus the current market cost of fuel required to fill the tank.
Late Returns
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed date and time. Late returns will be charged at the full daily rental rate for each additional day or part thereof. Cloudcars USA reserves the right to report the vehicle as stolen if not returned within 24 hours past the agreed return time without prior communication.
Payments
Full payment is required at the time of booking. All prices are listed in US dollars. Cloudcars USA accepts all major credit and debit cards. By completing payment, you authorize Cloudcars USA to charge your payment method for any additional fees incurred during the rental period.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Santa Barbara County, California.
