By confirming a reservation with Cloudcars USA, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Cancellation & Refunds
Cancellations 72+ hours before rental — full refund
Cancellations 24–72 hours before rental — 50% refund
Cancellations under 24 hours before rental — non-refundable
No-shows are non-refundable
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days
Security Deposit
A $1,000 security deposit is required at booking and refunded within 5 business days upon return of the vehicle in the following condition: no new damage beyond normal wear and tear, full tank of fuel, returned on time, and within 150 miles per day limit ($3.00 per mile over). Any damages, fees, or violations will be deducted from the deposit. If costs exceed $1,000, the renter is liable for the remaining balance.
Driver Requirements
Minimum age of 25 years. Valid government-issued driver’s license required. Only drivers listed on the rental agreement may operate the vehicle.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Santa Barbara County, California.
